Baildon Poultry Farm constructed four (4) additional poultry growing sheds at their farm in Victoria. Baildon required a panel system that had a clean internal ceiling finish for ease of cleaning combined with long spanning characteristics to reduce the amount of structural steel work required. THERMASPAN© was the perfect choice for this application.
THERMASPAN© will span up to 5.7metres unsupported significantly eliminating the requirement of internal structural steel. This not only provided enormous savings on both structural steel and labour to install the steel work, but also, has the added benefit of increased air flow resulting from the reduced internal steelwork. The ease of installation of THERMASPAN© also provides significant savings in labour costs as the roof sheet, insulation and ceiling is installed in one simple step. This saving in labour time also reduces the overall construction time of the sheds allowing for the growing cycle to commence earlier.
